Wie ihr vielleicht in den Nachrichten gelesen habt, wird in Frankreich wieder einmal gestreikt. (übrigens: grève = Streik) Grund dafür sind die geplanten Pensionsreformen von Sarkozy. Für uns hieß das ab Mittwoch Abend: Stillstand für den öffentlichen Verkehr in Paris! Keine Metro, keine Busse, keine RER…
Also, Motto am Donnerstag: per pedes zu Uni! Kein Problem, Wetter war schön und man hat ja sonst nichts Besseres zu tun… ;-)

Nach 1 ½ Stunden gemütlichen Fußmarsches endlich an der Uni angekommen, fand ich Manu alleine vor dem Seminarraum vor. Ja, das Verkehrsproblem traf natürlich auch die eine oder andere Unterrichtsperson – natürlich genau unsere und wie immer erfuhren wir davon nichts! Dann halt wieder zurück nach Hause!
En France, c'est la grève!
Tagsüber hat Paris eigentlich einen recht ruhigen und gemütlichen Eindruck gemacht, mit den vielen Fußgängern, Radfahrern, Inlineskatern,… Aber am Abend auf der Place de la Bastille erwartete uns plötzlich das Verkehrschaos (soll einem Fußgänger ja egal sein…) Was ist denn da los? Als wir dann bei unserer Place Leon Blum ankamen, hatten wir des Rätsels Lösung: Wo ein Streik, da auch eine Demo! Ach, deshalb die Straßensperre! Und diese Demo führte geradewegs quasi an unserer Haustür vorbei – von der Place de la République, vorbei an der Place Leon Blum, bis zur Place de la Nation. Landeskunde HAUTNAH!
Habe immer noch einen Ohrwurm von den Sprechchören. Na, bravo!
Heute spüren wir zwar immer noch die Nachwehen (die Metros verkehren noch nicht ganz regelmäßig), aber ich denke, das schlimmste wäre überstanden. Also keine Sorgen zuhause!

wohl gut wenn man "auf dem land" wohnt und gerade mal 2 min. fussmarsch zur uni hat. weilst auch unbedingt in paris bei den snobs studieren musst. bei uns ist es so schoen ruhig :-) grève? was ist das? gerade mal eine handvoll studenten hat demonstriert.
